I have a suggestion... instead of just normal tank pics as posters, maybe you want more "arty" posters? Eg. macro shots of SPS, LPS, fishes etc.. then frame them up like art... I think more classy than just plain full view posters

Hi EE bros.. Need some help again... I have a studio light (for photography) which blew on me some time back, there was this POP sound then it stopped working already... all along I thought it was just the flash tube that got blown but even after changing the flash tube the light still doesn't work... I suspect that it's the capacitors that blew (4 x 650V 1200uF capacitors)... problem is how do i know if it's for sure that the capacitors are the one that blew? A visual inspection shows nothing... do capacitors even go POP when they blow? If someone can help me fix the light even better, even willing to pay a small amount to get it fixed... If anyone can help please advise.. Thanks! Ervine

drawings and paintings are very very old school forms of art... have been around for ages... but there's nothing exciting and fresh to write about them... if you ask me, performing arts, animation, photography, videography/film making are the upcoming "in" forms of art...

i use a sawn off maxijet that I had lying around.... then plug it into a timer.. what the sawing off does is that it gives a 50/50 chance of the water spraying in either 2 directions...

Hi guys, I came home today and realised my LPS corals were all shrivelled up... I thought it was something wrong with the water... then I realised that the chiller was showing 27degs... which is fine, but the thing is it stayed there for an hour or so which is not normal... so I pressed the "set" button and I don't know why but the LCD display showed "CA"... I pressed it again then it displayed 27degs again, pressed again then it displayed 28degs... Only then did it start to show the true temperature of the tank.. a whopping 33degs!!!! What happened man? Erv.

Yups.. that's quite often heard.. sigh.. Try to rectify the situation? Any ideas besides launching a complaint? In any case for the kitchen cabinet u should demand compensation if you ask me... because he didn't deliever what was supposed to be delivered, either he re-do the whole thing, or he give u big discount..

Sigh contractors... No offence but there are black sheep out there... I've seen quite a few cases whereby you pay the last payment and their service standards simply drop to ZERO... call them they say ok will come down, wait 2 weeks still nothing... So the thing to note is to check every single thing before handing over the last cheque... EVERYTHING!.. if something is not right, make sure it gets corrected ASAP.. that's why it's a must to supervise the whole renovation process, see if they put the right tiles (they sometimes show u expensive samples but bring in cheaper china tiles) make sure they water proof your toilet properly.. etc etc Anyway... usually i would prefer NOT to work with relatives or friends at times... when something goes wrong harder to screw them upside down...

i use tapwater unfortunately.... I run the tap water thru a DIY kalkreactor.. the topped up water is powered by a DIY auto-top up...

money can't buy everything, but with no money you can't buy anything... i fall into the 2nd category now...
