Hi guys, I'm using a Fuji S602Z and I've been trying to get a proper white balance but I can't seem to get it. I've tried using the inbuilt ones but those all end up looking too blue, I've tried the customised WB with a white card against the blue light from my 20K MH but the pictures then turn out too vibrant. Either way it's not an accurate representation of what I see... anyone knows what's the best solution for this? Thanks

Lack of light... they are stretching to reach more light..

Looks good.. remember to cover the siphone tube intake with a mesh if not it might suck in a fish or two

I used this method before... for my nano... very easy to DIY only problem is making sure the container is completely airtight and doesn't warp under negative pressure...

Haha not hostile.. just excited... I'm also looking into building a skimmer using opaque PVC pipes (hell of a lot cheaper)... seems like the needle wheel thing might be a good way... One thing though, do you use a recirculation pump to generate the bubbles with another pushing water in and out of the skimmer or do you just use one pump to do it all?
