Hi guys,
Been thinking about making a new skimmer, but wanted to ask a few opinions first.
Okay basically I need to make an external skimmer, there's no space in my sump for an inline one.. I'm also looking at DIY-ing a needle wheel.
So here's the thing, can my needle wheel pump supply the required amount of water to the skimmer with the below set up? Coz I remember reading that it might not be able to build up enough pressure to push the mixture of air and water over the sump, into the skimmer and back out...
Hopefully the diagram will explain a little, so instead of a recirculating needle wheel pump, I just have one pump that supplies both the water and the bubbles to the skimmer.
Will this work?
Thanks!
