  3. been looking at the honeybee FP2, it's the only affordable one for me at the moment other than the $20 carrefour crash dummy... but must think carefully.. 200+ bucks can upgrade skimmer

  5. ok got it changed for a working one... but quite silly the heli can only hover 5" off the ground and it keeps turning in circles like a mad hamster.... aiyah cannot expect too much for $20 bucks I suppose... can fly already not bad...
  6. to quell my itchy fingers I went to buy the R/C heli from carrefour only to find out it's spoilt... sigh.. I think it's a sign to stay away from this hobby...

  13. Here is the monster... you can see it curls up all the way to the back (can't get a good shot)... How I know it's about 2ft long? Coz it stretched itself across the width of my sump which was 1.5ft long and it still had some of it's tail curled up!! How how? I'm not a fan of killing anything... should I just throw it in my fuge? Will it kill my bristlestar inside?

Hi guys, I got quite a shock when I saw something wriggling in my sump, at first I thought somehow an eel had gotten there but instead it was a bristleworm, and it's about 2ft in length!!!! yes 2 FEET... not to sure what to do with it and I don't quite dare to grab it, just looking at it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand! How?? I can't just leave it there right? Erv.
  16. mine jumped from the usual $50 to $100+... the last time this happened it was also because of "estimates" in the end the next month turned out to be FOC!

  18. I actually had an instance in which a drop of oil based paint (or varnish) dropped into my tank... somehow they didn't mix and the paint floated on the surface to be scooped up quite easily... no LS affected...
  19. can try using a cheap plastic ruler if you don't have an old credit card... that's what I'm using now...

  22. WOW 4ft cube? that's actually very deep, which might result in some problems... not to mention might be a little difficult to reach the middle of the tank... But I think it'll look superb... do post pics bro!
