Can help to id this as well pls...

From some stuffs i read, moon corals are not fleshy. The one i just posted is very fleshy with thick walls. I'm just trying to id this little bugger.

After some research, i feel that this is not a favia anymore. I need help to id this.

I think it look like Acan Maxima. But not too sure. Characters: Colonies are cerioid with corallites up to 50 millimetres diameter. Septa are coarsely toothed. Polyps have a fleshy mantle up to 100 millimetres diameter and with a Lobophyllia–like texture. Colour: Green, grey or brown. Similar species: Symphyllia wilsoni. The fleshy mantles are more extensive than those of any other Acanthastrea. Acanthastrea ishigakiensis has slightly smaller polyps. Habitat: Known only from moderately deep, turbid water.

If you know how to ride or drive already, i think private is for you. i dun think private need to wait so long anymore. In my days, rivate take up till 9 months like some reefers mention. but now i think only 3-4 months. I took sch the other time and i think its a waste of money. eg..Even though i have already been changing lane for the pass few lesson, i still haven't pass that subject in the booklet.(Same instructor). When i ask why i cannot pass that subject, he replied that they have their own house rules on the maximun number of subject a student can pass on each visit. But they do have a good system to train.

My AT infested with itch and velvet... Caused both my sunburst to KO. Tried the product in my tank. Consist of SPS,LPS,softies and clams. 1 clam died. Rest are ok. Still monitoring.

DB, i tried fragging some of the zoos the other night. One prob. i cannot see the base of the polyp properly. And because the rock surface that the zoo attached to is not smooth (obviously), i always slice off the zoo head. Any way to prevent this prob?

You will need to place these mushies under low to moderaTE flow area. They grow very fast. Under strong lightings, the color will enhance slightly further. They look healthy to me. Just take a look at their 'mouths' in the centre of each mushroom. When stressed, the will 'open' their mouth. 'Spitting' of brown substances will NormallY mean the mushie a goner.

Look like Red Disco frags..

But dun think one ballast can support two switches for each tube leh
