Today I test another of my led module. This is 3 leds in one round fixture with build in constant current driver This assembly is 3 watt

Most dc led can be driven direct from the dc power source. But it is not advisable as it will shorten the life of your led when the current surge

The first module is 3 led on PVC strip form with build constant current driver. This module is around 5 watt in total This is the first module

As promise yesterday I do my first testing today

With help from some of the friend I manage to build another 3 testing module. Watch out this space for the testing result soon

You mean price as compare to the Cree? Will let you know. At this point of time we cannot compare the both product fairly. One is direct driven by your wall plug while the other is driven by a DC power source and a constant current driver. Your wall supply efficient is at any time better then your DC power source.(Even you are using the best highest efficient of today DC power source, the efficiency is still lack far behind the AC source from the wall) But the set back with the AC led is the heat generated. If you have an] efficient cooling system then the problem is resolve Cheers

You mean the 4 w led? Will try to get ASAP

Bro, This is 4 w.Its the only direct AC led I find in market. It had higher heat generate than the DC LED. So need to have very good cooling concept
