Component? Or DIYs or ready make? Flourescent of course cheaper than LED in the initial cost. But running cost and maintenace cost LED is cheaper

If you using 250MH now.And everything is ok. Then you measure what is the lux reading at your tank base before removing the MH. Then you setup your LED panel and repeat the same measurement. If both lux reading are close to each other then you are sure it will have no problem.

As can be seen from the above result, the light intensity of the LEDs is higher than a 250 watt MH.

Finally the 700 mA constant current driver arrive. We will change the present 350 mA constant driver with the 700mA constant current driver and compare the result

Bro larryng 21. Most LED look bright to our nake eyes. So very hard to tell if spec is not know. Hope you buy with some spec then we can tell what is the LEDs use.

So far I order them from oversea.

Anything more than 12 inch you need lens. For a 2 ft lens 40- 45 degree should be ok.
