Today I remove the algae scrubber to check and was very impress by the algae growth

The LED growth light replaces the 13 watt T5 tube in the sump

On 22nd March 2009 complete my simple LED growth light

There is some algae grow after 7 days but no what I am looking for. Think maybe a higher intensity light will improve the algae grow. But using more T5 mean higher electrical cost by end of the month. So decide to give LED a try. At the same time proof that growth light will work for an algae scrubber

The offer 680 mA constant current driver are all taken up by today afternoon. Others who had place their order will receive them by the next shipment in mid April.

Our eyes cannot read us the light intensity correctly. Many people find out after they buy what they think look super bright to their eyes. Then when they set the light up in their tank they found it actually cannot meet their minimum requirement Cheers

You can find most of them on internet, Sim Lim Tower and some lighting shop. There are expensive. Mostly from Taiwan,China and Hong Kong. Either come in cool white or warm white. Not much choice for color spectrum. You can also get brand like Orsam or Philip. But they are more expensive than those in Sim Lim Cheers

The 680mA constant current driver will be in this weekend. If you need them and you still have not place reservation try to place order before all is taken up. So far 60% is under reservation.
