    I have not see this gyre .So not sure if using AC or DC. If DC then you can use the jebao wavemaker controller to control it. Then u can have night mode.

    LED has fix spec. A 660 nm led is 660 +/- ?% A 660 nm led cannot be white or blue. A 660 nm have 6 to 10 bins. The bin is the +/- % . The tighter they +/- % the closer it is to the spectrum u define. And also more costly. The cost different can be up to 5 to 10 time different. So you see the price you pay for the same spec of led can be a big different. This is the same for the your power supply and current driver. Till u able to compare apple to apple the price you pay for your led light set does not tell you anything

    These led strip are running at low voltage less then 3 vdc and very low current less then .5 amp.

    Led history is short. Nothing compare to T5 or MH. But this 2 years u see more and more tank using LED with good growth and coloring. This show we now understand LED better.
