I am using Atman pump for more than 3 years .So far no such problem. Maybe your pump is faulty. Since it is new I think you can get it change from the LFS you bought it. Regards Sherman

Bro, First you rid off the rough surface of rust with ssnd paper.(Can don,t sand also) Then you can just apply a layer or two of the rust convertor.This actually convert the rust back to metal and prevent future rusting. Lastly paint back to your stand original color. Regards Sherman
