Not really. It meant for SMD mount LED. For star pcb because the place where we solder our wiring is very close to the led and because many of us cannot solder as nice as SMD the LENs has the problem of sitting nicely. So need to file off area block by our soldering and hold it in place with a tiny drop of PVC glue to prevent it from dropping out

Since your tank is only 14 inch high and you are only keeping fish and LPS you can go for P1 LEDs to save some money. But of course if you upgrade to a higher tank in future (More than 20 inch) then these LEDs might not be enough. Still 6 LEDs is definitely not enough to cover an area of 24 by 14 inch You need about 21 LEDs to light up your tank evenly. Cheers

We will be replacing the driver circuit with the latest chip set for the metal core PCB board. So there will be some delay in the final product.

To read color temperature you can use a spectrometer.But I understand it is a very expensive equipment to own To measure light intensity you can use a Lux meter.This is around S$120 -S$300 To measure PAR value you need a Quantum or PAR meter. But so far I cannot manage to find anyone selling this in Singapore Cheers
