  1. Long time no update. Some update of my fully led lite tank
  2. 1 Watt led is not even good to be a algae scrubber.Unless your tank is less than 10 inch in height or the led is overdrive . So be careful what you invest
  3. Add me in the list if you do your purchase, Bro Rocky
  4. Almost complete.Nice.Waiting for your update
  5. Try weekly water change if the algae problem persist. No tap water plaese
  6. What accessories you looking for? I have both brand new and used one. SMS me at 90670590 if interested
  7. You can dose calcium, magnesium and KH Any brand will do but if looking at cost point of view you can dose commerical chemical which many brothers use to share and buy in bulk occassionally Cheers
  8. So far seems everything is in line. Only the 9 v transformer I am not too sure can be use. I remember should be a DC power supply. Those using meanwell driver please help to confirm.
  9. You can just leave it and stop any more CA and KH dosing. Over time they will drop with your correct MG
  10. Your 250 w MH will cover about 2 ft of your tank area. If your tank is 4 ft you require 2 x 250 w MH. As for LED to get a 250 w MH equivalent you need at least 130 w of led if led is running at 1 A over the same 2 ft area of your tank.
  11. Bro , Using resistor you will not get constant current. Remember to consider temperature changes, resistance changes ,current and voltage changes are all related. Your led life span will be shorten with the current changes due to temperature and voltage changes during light up. Regards
  12. Bro how come you choose 18 v led driver? 18 v can only run 4 leds. Also 1 mm aluminium plate is a bit too thin you need at least 2 mm with proper heat sink
  13. Bro, Where you get it from and how much?
  14. From the light pattern graph this is not possible. Both P4 and P7 has the same graph. The only different is P7 has a higher output of 900 LM but at the expense of higher running current of 2.8 A. Maybe you observe for a longer period of say 2 to 3 months and see how. If you like to do measurement you can bring both your light down my place and we do a few mmeasurement to compare Cheers
  15. But without lens I doubt the intensity and PAR at 2ft aways from the LED is enough for your reef. Try to do some lumen and PAR measurement at your tank base
  16. Nice and Neat Light set. What is your tank height? Why you not using Lens?
  17. Most of the parts are available locally .Some of the parts are specially design and fabricate.
  18. The above LED light set when lightup
  19. LED light set using LED on metal core PCB with build in constant current driver
  20. The above LED light set when lightup
  21. Another LED light fixture using led on star metal core PCB
  22. The above LED light set when lightup
