LED life is affect by heat .If you can maintain the LED junction temperature as stated in the LED manufacturer 's spec your LED's life should be as state by the manufacturer.

Bro, If you look at the rock you will find you have many hot spot. This is due to the use of high watt LED. A single 10 watt led has a very high intensity spot around the centre of the light spot. You can soften such spot by moving the led further from the tank . Another method is to use 3 pieces of 3 watt leds rather then one piece of 10 watt led. This is my observation.
