One curve 7 skimmer and daily dose iron supplement and carbon . Carbon is vinegar and sugar mix.

Sept 2018. 21 months no water change for the 5.5 footer PO4 is 0.03. NO3 is 2.5 All in the acceptable range

Tap water is ok. Don't know your nitrite come from where. I don't think tap water has nitrite . But you can test and see

Your water source I believe should be tap water. Tap water has nitrite? Can it be wrong reading? You like to borrow another test kit to verify

For the 5.5 ft easier to settle. I just reduce iron doser by half and carbon dosing temporaily stop

Yes. Remove about 30% already. The remaining is also dying off

For the 5.5 ft PO4 also drop to 0.009 And NO3 also zero

For the 2.5 ft No3 still at 0. And this week PO4 also zero.Something is taking in all the nutrient although I had started dosing KNO3 since 16th Aug. Can it be the hair algae?

Your PO4 is ok. As long as it is not zero or above 0.09 You just need to lower your NO3. Water change has little effect of bringing down NO3 unless we are talking about major water change. Skimmer is more effective in bringing down your NO3 . So try to run it wet. You running biopellet reactor . What media you running? You have bacteria king and marine pure. Are you dosing bacteria?
