  3. Go to pharmacy like Guardian, ask for hydrogen peroxide. It will come in pre-diluted form of 3%. Dosage is 2ml per liter of seawater. Bath your fish in this for not more than 30 mins with aeration. Observe the fish carefully and remove it early if it does not seem to tolerate it well. Wait a few days and repeat if the fungus has not completely been eradicated.
  4. It's alright to remove the filter wool. I have never used filter wool.
  5. Clownfishes in the aquarium trade in Singapore are still >90% wild caught. Captive bred ocellaris clownfish are available, but it is not economically feasible for people to breed such clownfish for sale in Singapore. This is because wild caught ocellaris clowns have such a low wholesale value. Unless consumers are willing to pay many times more for captive bred clownfish and understand why captive bred fishes will cost more, I doubt there will be much improvement in the trade of wild caught ocellaris clownfish. Wild caught clownfish are very susceptible to brookynella, which usually causes mass mortality in wild caught clownfish shipments. This might have been the white patch which you have seen. The white poop usually indicates an internal parasite problem, which can be cured using products like Prazi-pro. Avoid buying clownfish which look pale or seem to have a coat of mucus on them. This is usually a sign of brookynella and common medications will not help. You need either a good formalin-based medication or chloroquin phosphate to deal with this disease. Cyanide is usually used to catch fishes which hide in rocks and are hard to catch. Clownfishes are easy to net and there is no need to utilize cyanide. My guess is that they are cheap just because of pure abundance in the wild.

  16. People organising bulk order for the frogs on aquaticquotient.com You might be able to get the frogs soon but 1x1x1 is too small for whites. 2ft height for them would be the bare minimum, 3-4 ft height is ideal. If the tank is not tall enough, the frogs will be stressed and will get abrasions on their snouts relatively quickly, followed by secondary infections.
  17. I have a 32 oz (946 ml) bottle of the above to spare. Useful for feeding rotifers, brine shrimp, filter feeders like tubeworms, clams & tunicates. http://www.reed-store.com/?category=47&amp...productid=RD-SM Going for SGD $78, same price I bought it. Anyone interested drop me a pm.
