  1. Looking for a stable Acropora hyacinthus colony that is available to be fragged.
  2. Put the thread on the nano reef forums. Don't let the Japanese get all the glory.
  3. Did a siphoning of 1.5 L of water today. Lucky I tested the pH of newly mixed seawater before pouring into the tank. pH of the pico tank was 8.34, pH of newly mixed seawater was 8.94. Now I am aerating the water for pH to reach equilibrium before pouring into the tank. Next time I would prepare a bigger bucket of water and store it prior to water change.
  4. Right side of tank. I got an Acropora echinata placed direct under the outflow of the hang-on filter. Full tank shot.
  5. Some new additions Ponape birdnest. Tiger sponge for filtration. Read somewhere that these animals are able to take up D.O.C. Thought I would give it a try since I am not running a skimmer.
  6. First thing is to stick then take photo, not the other way round la. Later sure cannot find your frags.
  7. Small? You don't know what is small until you see goby larvae. No lah if they eat enough they do grow quite big, around maybe 1 inch.
  8. Forgot to add that the livestocks have been added since I had no ammonia spike. The hang-on filters were seeded with established biohome from my other marine tanks. The grissengeri gobies love hiding below the rocks. Lucky I opted for bare-bottom. If the tanks had sand I doubt I would see the gobies.
  9. Parameter check today.. pH 8.26, kH 8.3, Calcium 480ppm.
  10. No spare, unless I get more clownfish.
  11. It's the green one (Synchiropus spendidus). It was eating enriched live adult brine shrimp. It was slowly weaned onto frozen brine shrimp from there.
  12. I have a thumb length mandarin that I will let off for $10. It has been trained to eat frozen brine shrimp but it is not getting enough to eat as my lionfishes are gluttons. Let me know if you are interested. Can feed for you to see.
  13. I bet tomorrow drop already.
