  1. Yes they are schooling fish. As they are tiny open water fish, I suspect they need to be fed more frequently than anthias to keep up with their calories burnt.
  2. Some shots of these beautiful fish. They are being fed enriched newly hatched Artemia 3-4 times a day to maintain body condition. You can literally see the brine shrimp in their guts.
  3. Sure MIA one lah. I bought 15 put in pico tank. This morning only see 14. Can't find the other one. Maybe it jumped out during lights out.
  4. I will be getting a LED nightlight just for these dart fish. They get very startled when the lights go out, shooting for the water surface. After a few minutes they calm down. Interesting observation is that they turn pale and sleep on the tank bottom, behaving much like neon tetras when they sleep. Definitely not for those with crabs in the tank, as these fish are easy targets when they sleep.
  5. Added 15 pcs of mini dart gobies, Aioliops megastigma. They were in rather good condition, with rather full bellies. Best thing is that they eat enriched baby brine shrimp!
  6. Wah lao lemon..see lah ponteng more classes to chiong LFS.. Bacterial infection can build immunity, that's why antibiotics can be created. Viral disease is harder for immunity to develop, which is why there is no known cure for HIV.
  7. I have a feeling that one of the causes of this "zoapox" is actually oxidative stress which could be caused by sudden exposure to bright lights that the zoanthid is not accustomed to.
  8. You are lucky... The switchboard replacement at my place took 6 hours.
  9. Anyone interested in Liopropoma carmabi? Not too sure of price but should be in the low 1 thousands.
  10. Thanks for the reminder. I will take note of this.
  11. Very hard to find a healthy L. latifasciatum without buoyancy problems.
  12. How do you test for your pH? I am using American Pinpoint pH monitor.
  13. Lots available at Ahbeng in Pasir Ris. From the size they do appear to be captive bred.
  14. Weird. I thought water being treated by DI should have a lower pH? My tapwater fresh out of the tap has a pH of 9.0. If I leave the tapwater standing for about 5 mins, the pH drops to 8.5. If I left it sitting longer the pH would probably drop further.
  15. A nightshot.. Acropora echinata polyp extension..
  16. My N/P-Reducing Biopellets arrived today. Bought some tap water filters as my filter bag for my hang-on filter to house these pellets.
  17. Hi bro, Pm me all the fish you are letting off and their pricing?
  18. http://www.coralmagazine-us.com/content/damsels-hot-water Check out this article. Who knows by lowering your water temperature you might have less issues with fish that you have found to be extremely aggressive.
  19. Hyacinthus.. If any frags available do let me know.
