Light or no light does'nt matter. Just make sure you get them after you have solved any algae problems. Then place them somewhere with moderate current. You won't want debri settling onto them and choking them.

It has worked for me...just make sure your netting does'nt get choked. Or you could find a ceramic ring or something and let the suction work on it. Then ur fish wun have space to get stuck.

Oh well...the best you can do is to shake the bubbles out of your sponge. Yes...you can break them into smaller pieces. Sponges have incredible regeneration rates.

Consider adding some form of phosphate remover...or replacing it..your algae problem should be under control.. A lawnmower blenny would be nice too.

T5s are not as hot as you all think. They are even not much as hot as normal T8 FLs. They are much cooler than PL lights. Fans will suffice.

Myxazin is in liquid form. Octozin is in tablet form. I prefer to use Octozin as it is colorless. If I'm not wrong myxazin is colored. You can read the contents of both products to see which one suits you better meow meow meow.

I leave my filters running..but my skimmer off for maybe 1-2 hours when I dose phytoplankton. My filters can't filter out phyto anyway..they are too small.

Hehe...same here... I finally bought my piece of dung...AHhahaa...now it's cleaning my sand! Sian..now saving up for T5.....after my T5 are up would hopefully be upgrading skimmer... Oh well...keeping marine is worse than taking drugs...LoL...
