    Probably your Mg getting precipitated out. Try lowering your kH and Ca to maybe 7-8 & 400-450 respectively.

    Yes. Makes me think that many so called Japanese corals are either not from Japan or that they can be found elsewhere other than Japan.

    Are green banded gobies capable of cloning themselves? I swear I had 3 of them in a tank for months, and today I cannot explain the appearance of a fourth specimen.

    Using bubble magus dosing pump. Might upgrade to a german brand in future, I feel it is slightly more accurate in terms of dosing. For bubble magus if you set 8ml dose 4 times over 24 hours, each time dosage is usually less than 2ml. Yes dosing C-balance Part A & Part B. Will switch over to Fauna Marin Balling light, once I have the funds. That way trace elements (Ultra Trace B ) can be dosed together with the 3 parts and fully maximize the capabilities of the dosing pump.

    1 drop of Ultra Min S and 1 drop of Ultra Bak once every 2 days. For 2 part I am using TLF C-Balance. That's all I don't dose anything else.

    Biohome, Ultra PowerPhos 0.04 and zeolites.

    Go for biopellets to remove your nitrate. The additional bacteria mulm can further feed your NPS. For the phosphate generated, try using Goodbye PO4. More economical for NPS.

    Not really, only need take out maybe 2-3 rocks. Most of the corals are attached so there is no issue. I take out the rocks quite often to pluck stubborn algae off them manually using tweezers. I'll wait till my next trimming before I catch the fish, then avoid double work.

    With food development now, it is not an issue. Food problems have been solved. The only issue now is to deliver the food in a continuous manner. Once you overcome that most NPS suddenly become very easy. They are just like anthias, difficult anthias become easy once you start them on a continuous feeding regime.

    Ok will consider. Need to catch out the P.nocturna and the other 4-5 tiger gobies inside first, if not tank crash.

    Maybe the only other alternative is the post larval joculator? But then I'll feel sorry for my pocket if the flameback kills it. Too bad the tailess 1cm+ Singapore Angel did'nt make it. It just kept getting thinner although it was eating.

    With all the foods you are feeding, you are doing the food injustice by not adding another 5-6 crinoids.

    Don't like A. parvulus that much. Still prefer the mini dart gobies (Aioliops megastigma) but must find a way to prevent them from jumping. A glass cover will help but I am not sure if that will cause the tank to heat up from greenhouse effect. Maybe it's possible for the flameback to pair with the argi?

    Need to watch the bioload very carefully. I might consider one more fish. I would add an argi angel if I could find one the size of 10 cents.

    Update. Skimmerless, so far no noticeable differences. New inhabitants include one small diadema urchin for nuisance algae control (hopefully, as my tuxedo urchins don't eat that algae) and my first frogspawn. I fragged it in 2 to be placed at different locations. Seriously thinking of 1 more par38 to brighten up the middle area. The middle area gets morning sun though.

      Is it LDA105 aka the "Typhoon" plec? If it is it is considered cheap already cos this plec normally sells about 3k to 4k depending on size.

      Nope.. was referring to Blue Eye Cochliodon. Prices seem inflated to me, don't see why a fish should cost so much when no deep water collection is needed for them.

      Typhoon plec is v ex becos it's deep water. Blue eye panaque is v ex becos there are v few in the wild. A few years back blue-eye was the rarest plec and almost run out in the wild due to over collection.

    Here Digiman, The fish you failed to see, only one. Not lightning, maybe I shall call it Plasma clown. The stripes have not developed fully yet. I'll leave you guessing what the other side looks like.
