  1. Hmmm..anemones don't undergo asexual reproduction unless water conditions are minimal. Is it torn instead? Might explain ur ammonia spike.
  2. Yea..the most important pieces of information to facilitate tank sales are a picture of the tank itself and the thickness of the glass.
  3. Yea..there can never be too much lights. Stare at the sun and you will know what i mean.
  4. Reefers can only reef if they are patient in the first place.
  5. Forgot to add...alternatively you can dilute it further than the recommended amount. Test the pH. Dilute it till the pH is roughly the same as your tank. Then you can just pour everything in.
  6. Yea...I stopped dripping kalk after I sold my canopy over. Now dosing it manually. Every 4-5 hours pour 4-5 capfuls into my tank.
  7. Go the website and check it out. His stuff are very reasonably priced. Order more than $100 and you get free delivery. How about that.
  8. Yea Dinosaur.....seeing your tank parameters it should do well. Considering sps have already survived millions of years.
  9. you can order from our sponsor..at www.eAquanature.com IMO you should go for all aquablues if you want ur corals to do well. If you want a more soothing look you can go for actinic like u intended to. But actinic does'nt really help corals much.
  10. It all boils down to the surface area of your tank and the height of your tank. Let's just say it use up for one to judge. Other people's comment should be taken with a pinch of salt since they have not seen your tank in person. For instance if the clam is onli 10cm or less from your light source (and your light has reflectors to concentrate the light into your tank only), then placing it directly under a 55W 6,500K - 10,000K PL tube is more than sufficient.
  11. Hundreds of cleaner wrasse and moorish idols die due to the aquarium trade...only to have a very small percentage of them surviving in the aquarium. Is it really worth it to sacrifice so many other lives so that we can enjoy a few of them in our tanks?
  12. There is a debate going on whether to include a third category besides SPS and LPS..which is MPS. LoLx Yea..this coral is actually quite common on the reefs around Singapore.
  13. Not long mah..walk in from the reservoir bus-stop there onli about 15-20 minutes...
  14. Ribbon eels are black when juvenile...blue when teenager..and yellow when adult. Yellow-colored ones are all females. While black and blue ones are males. I think the white ribbon eel is probably a type of moray instead?
  15. Nice...too bad my tank too small..*sigh*...
  16. Wow..going to film your own version of LOTR? Go find the Moa!
  17. I hardly see the 8 of them in my tank...maybe too little of them..or maybe i forgot to give them new shells.
  18. I think eaten by barracuda? Weird..din know barracudas eat fish eggs.
  19. Collect the eggs next time..mix with my coco worm the sp*rm..then we see what come out.
  20. Ok..so it's not spe*m..most likely it's debri.
  21. hmmmm..try to avoid them...if you are asking this question, seems to me that you have no idea how hard they are to take care of in captivity. Anemones in the wild can live for hundreds of years. They are best left in the ocean.
