  2. Check your kH, too low and ich is inevitable due to pH swing. Try to keep kH of at least 8.
  3. H. erectus H. barbouri H. zosterae H. ingens H. abdomanilis H. breviceps H. reidi H. fuscus H. kuda All captive raised and will be at least $150 SGD each except for zosterae. If really interested then pm me.
  4. You need to mash frozen food on SPS skeleton to initiate feeding response. Apparently the breeder who bred them has managed to wean them off completely from SPS. However, this takes a lot of patience. This species has been successfully bred and raised past the larval stage without any coral as part of the diet.
  5. True sherpadi it is.. believe it and it will be!
  6. Wonder what will happen if the true sherpadi lands here. You & lemon will probably end up fighting.
  7. Argh.. they all look the same to me..

  9. You may try the anti-bacterial food. Contains broad spectrum antibiotics.
  10. Do a freshwater dip. If nothing falls off the fish most likely it is bacterial issue, in which case antibiotics will be the answer.
  11. Hmm.. bioload for 1ft tank with a pair of harlequin shrimps and sea star quite high, especially when the sea star starts to die while it is being fed upon. You may wish to consider bongo shrimp instead, these feed on smaller brittlestars, especially the white ones commonly found in sand beds. ML just came in 2 pairs.
  12. Captive bred fishes available at Iwarna this afternoon. Will confirm timing later. Platinum clownfish, black ice ocellaris, black ocellaris, orchid dottyback, neon dottyback, snowflake ocellaris (premium grade), yellow neon goby, green banded gobies. Very, very limited pcs.
  13. Saya bodok! Saya bodok!

  14. Get scooter blennies instead. Much easier to get feeding compared to mandarins.
  15. Tank raised Picasso perculas at Iwarna after 2pm. Much hardier than wild caught clownfish or fish grown out in the sea.
  16. http://www.ryanphotographic.com/callionymidae.htm Hmm..now I'm unsure if it is morrisoni. Might be S. bartelsi.
  17. I was lucky to see it flaring. If not I would'nt have noticed as well. Morrisoni color seems to be highly variable, mine is'nt that red but it could change if I provided it with some coralline coloured rocks. While we're on rare dragonets, here's one I've only seen 1-2 times in Singapore. Think spotted at CF few years back. S. circularis.
  18. Yes it was kept with the stellatus. The dorsal fin is different. It's only the 2nd time that ML has managed to get them. Hmm, if you get most dragonets in good condition they tend to wean quite well in my experience. I did'nt even need to train it. Mandarins on the other hand, are more fussy.
  19. I got 2 males from ML. Can't believe my luck as nobody noticed them. Unfortunately one did'nt make it as I expected as it was quite inactive. The other 1 is now eating frozen food. Very cool fish that changes color and able to hide in the sand with only eyes exposed.
