  4. A skimmer's column is normally rounded to enable the bubbles to swirl, increasing the contact time the bubbles have with the surrounding water and organics.

  15. Smaller ones rely on phytoplankton slightly more than light. As they grow they will rely more on light. You need very strong lights to keep them happy in the long run.
  16. Hmm..so you got that Chevron at ML's latest shipment? Glad it found a nice home! Roidan..did'nt get the angel as well?? Very rare too.
  17. Went ML today Lots of zebra hermits (i bought 10 more!) Saw small chevron tangs (5cm+?) Saw one type of angel (forgot the name but very rare n attractive pricing ) Small yellow tangs 3 pcs of blue boxfish And some bartletts. Only got to see them in the process of acclimatization. Din get to see their beauty in the tanks.
  18. Butterflyfish have the reputation of being mostly coral polyp feeders or even very fussy feeders.
  19. Think grade 0 would be the best choice. Remember reading somewhere in this forum that someone had a seahorse choke to death on an ingested coral chip.
  20. I use Raffles brand Garlic 5000. Can be found at pharmacies. Real concentrated stuff that works like a charm for me. Just that after bursting the capsule and getting the stuff on my fingers i smell like garlic the whole night.
