  1. Maybe we should have another section under sgreefclub main forums..thread title would be 'Alert list'..followed by the goby section, angelfish section..etc...wun that be nice?

  3. Erm..about $250 a fish. do the calculations. Anyway...hope the silicarbon works....i threw away my chemipure as I thought it might be leaching stuff (i pray i din throw the rowaphos instead)...could'nt really recognise which was which..open up both bags..i guessed rowaphos to be the one whereby the bag was brown due to iron...
  4. Helfrich gobies still available at PR..saw them in person myself. They din pair them up w0t..all were together. I counted 9...meaning someone must have bought 1? Bought silicarbon from PR..hopefully it makes my diatoms go away.
  5. If your lights are not intense enough, corals will grow less, consuming less calcium.
  6. Hmm..this design had been mentioned b4 sometime ago in the d.i.y section..similar to yours.
  7. Ya lor..i was referring to them.
  8. The first few were nice and just right....but the last few were too big.
  9. He shud have been offered a contract to be a comedian...not a singer...
  10. OMG..thank goodness no one else saw that....
  11. Hmm..the display tank in underwater world..is the moorish idol still there? Miss that fella. Miss the frogs they used to house there too.
  12. Hmm..think just keep your water quality high and it should recover without any problems. Just keep an eye on it. If it looks to be getting worse then put medication. Best to avoid medication in any case. Might have unknown side effects
  13. All my test kits are salifert. Gonna get a phosphate one soon.
  14. Octopus bay and eAquarist have my thumbs up! For their prompt reply and helpfulness. So does edmund from eAquanature. He actually delivered salt to my house 1-2 days after CNY although he had something on.
  15. Hmmm...ok..then I start... Igloo...to facilitate your sales I think a good coral identification book should do the trick. Providing scientific names can be more accurate as common names can lead to lots of confusion. I can see that most of your LPS are rather reasonably priced for CITES corals. Condition wise looks rather healthy to me. But best to provide scientific names for new hobbyists to check up on them. Common names might come up with wrong information during web searching. Just my thoughts.
  16. Erm..what is for? For seahorses? If so I think WC got some medication meant for SH..
  17. Those should be still alive. Remember taking one from my mom to dump into my tank long long ago..and it started to burrow. Seafood best to keep fresh..if the clams are dead they would start to stink already.
  18. They are filter feeders like tubeworms, scallops etc. They should sustain on phyto feeding and dissolved organic matter.
  19. Oh..hehe..thought you from sg..hmmm..think philippines beach sand should be cleaner than the sand found here.
  20. Try reb**n. They should have lots of grade 0 and grade 1 sand always in stock.
  21. what is the world coming to..........
  22. $950 can settle for chenggai wooden stand liao.
  23. Was thinking of adding some 'hum' into my dsb in my sump to help stir up the sand while they burrow..to prevent the dsb from becoming stagnant with hydrogen sulphide buildup. My dsb in the sump is around 17cm in depth. Will the 'hum' hinder the functionality of the dsb?
  24. I don't think mushrooms and star polyps take phyto. Think they mainly rely on light. Those which take phyto are mostly filter-feeding organisms like clams etc.
