  1. wah....must be a hard blow to you..sorry to hear that...understand how you feel right now...I also experienced it before..when my frog collection all went *poof* when I forgot to quarantine a new individual.
  2. Just wondering if it is recommended to frag the lower branches as they tend to get shaded by the upper branches... If I were to frag the lower branches, what fragging equipment would I need? I tried breaking off before using my fingers but then it was virtually impossible..do I need a wirecutter or something?
  3. ? What wrong with caulerpa...I have caulerpa in my tank..even on my I-box.. I know the risk that they might go sexual..but regular pruning has prevented that..so far din see them go sexual...
  4. wah..if you can find i buy from you?
  5. Hope can find mini-sized rose bubble tip...esp those that just bud from parent colony...saw 1 50 cent coin size one last week at pasir ris...regret din buy...if not my anemone shrimp got host already..
  6. Bubbles are actually not very demanding..they are rather bulletproof LPS...had one which actually survived numerous liverock falling on it...even bleaching during cycling process...and recovering to full glory after that..just make sure you don't put them near things that could be stung by their sweeper tentacles.
  7. Huh...only 2 seahorse gone..or all your reidi gone?
  8. Hmmm..why selling ur precious clams? They 'kiap' your seahorsies tail ah?
  9. Read it somewhere before I think..to speed up maturation process you add sugar solution to your tank water..
  10. Hehe..I got it half this size..now grow quite a little..adult already I guess. Non-aggressive too...even cleans my sri lankan scooters.
  11. You can try H20 aquarium near kembangan mrt. Bought my dead rock from there..now liverock already.. It's about $3 per kg..
  12. Of cause it still can be used....just make sure you keep it in the freezer when not in use.
  13. $12 certainly worth it for such cool specimens...wonder if they will turn into another color... Ugly "duckling" turn into "swan"..
  14. Gr@nd Fin@Le for today....remember the sea squirt I bought last friday? I got it grey...then it turned slightly blue...and today it is....YELLOW! Pic of them...
  15. erm..3cm considered big already...i have 1cm shrimps swimming around..
  16. Finally got a clear shot of my blue-headed boxer..shud be adult already..this species only grows to 3cm..does'nt it look dyed?
  17. The last time my water parameters became imbalanced led to my blue tip almost dying off....left only about 3mm of flesh at the tips...now it's slowly recovering..burning off the algae on the dead skeleton and encrusting back.
  18. Just wondering...if sea squirts shed their outer coat for growth or debri removal is it ok to assist them? I've been assisting them to remove the coats using forceps. I'm not harming them in any way am I? So far they don't seem to mind..
  19. you can try cleaner shrimps from the genus lysmata or from the genus urocaridella. They have natural symbiotic relationships with predators in the wild. Always make sure you don't drop the shrimp in like food...but rather place it on the rock directly in a secluded corner and let it acclimatize. Make sure you keep your fishes preoccupied in the time being.
  20. I swear by rowaphos already...for me I turn the filter bag everyday.
  21. Yep..got "venturi"..but then the air intake is located after the motor..which means that the air will not be blended by the impeller..
  22. Why would anyone put their tanks in the toilet!?
  23. To prevent a sand bed from clumping together you need microfauna such as worms, etc that will churn your sand..
  24. Oh yes...No need for eurobracing lah... your tank not 2 ft deep...
