  3. Use the pump specs that are listed on the outside of the weipro box for reference. I followed it and my skimmate was like coffee. If I did'nt remember wrongly the recommended pump for 2013 is only around 1200l/hr?
  4. Hmmm...No option suits me..I have all brown sps...
  5. These are free. The pink soft coral left to the open brain. As well as the black sea cucumber.
  6. Take both rocks of mushrooms for $15. Someone take the digitata leh...I fear for my calcium and kH levels.....
  7. Selling this super giant mushroom. Going for $8. That's all for now guys. My prices for mushrooms might be slightly more ex than farms or fish shops. But at least you don't face the risk of dying sponges and other hitchhikers etc.
  8. Selling this rock of rhodactis mushies. Orange brown body with the occassional yellow streak. Going for $15.
  9. Selling this..not sure if palythoa or zoanthid. Anyway, going for $8 with a heavily coralline encrusted liverock.
  10. Selling my fungia. Going for $18.
  11. Selling my pink scroll coral. Has been slowly bleaching over the past months. Maybe cause I neglected it to an area with low flow. The white part not dead yet. Polyp extension still visible. Going for $8.
  12. Selling this one on a friend's behalf. Huge Montipora digitata.. Going for $30.
  13. It depends on the media you are using..if you're using ARM from Carib Sea it should also liberate the proportionate amounts of magnesium, strontium and other trace elements. This is because the media came from past living organisms, which took up these elements in the proportions that were needed by them. When they die these elements are enclosed in their shells and when the shells are dissolved, the elements are reintroduced back into aquaria.
  14. Waterchanges work the best. Mine almost gone already. Only changed one coralife bucket of water. Maybe change again 3 days later..
  15. Coralline algae can cause kH levels to drop very fast. Check your magnesium levels. Low magnesium levels can lead to difficulties in raising kH. If manual dosing upsets you...there is always the Calcium reactor. You'll need one sooner or later.
  16. If I were to have a cat..this is the one. Pure asian leopard cat bloodline. I find hybrids or crossbreeds ... Amazing how people in the U.S can get basically anything...
  17. Came back from your trip overseas already ah? I kept the caulerpa for you in case you are still interested. As for the sps I have sold it off already. But I have a similar but smaller specimen if you want.
  18. Looks like his nick is his name spelt backwards?
  19. Leave out crinoids next time. Impossible to keep in captivity unless you use natural seawater 24/7
  20. erm...dissolve it in fresh water and pour it in the tank?
  21. Actually got a few others around.
  22. Go for 4 tubes. Will be more than sufficient for most sps.
  23. Suggest you underdose slightly. It's always better to err on the side of caution.
  24. Az-NO3 if I'm not wrong will cause your skimmer to foam like crazy. Meaning by rights your skimmer should also oxygenate your water more effectively.
  25. Wow..what pink acro is on the bottom left of the pic? Can I have a frag pls?
