  1. Oh yes..preferably with low power consumption pump.
  2. Looking for the Weipro 2013 or 2014. Preferably with appropriately rated pump. Do let me know your offers in this thread.
  3. Assault is serious man...for me I'll let our fellow aquatic friends do the job. Tie him up, put a small scorpionfish in his mouth. Just tape his mouth and leave him in public. Let the public decide whether or not they want to remove the tape.
  4. Hmmm..is this the big orange damsel? I thought these are temperate species?
  5. It does'nt matter..artemia take both dead and live feeds.
  6. Hmmm..sorry to hear that. Maybe for next batch you could try to move them between 2 culture vessels every few days? Wash out the used vessel with chlorine and let it dry completely before the next usage. That might help prevent fungus from gaining a foothold.
  7. So..who are those dirty people? Should we be allowed to cream pie them?
  8. Feed enough phytoplankton and you should see them opening.
  9. They will survive for a long time if its all seawater. But the presence of stinging corals, pumps, etc you'll probably end up with a bunch of them rotting.
  10. "Do you smell.......what the Rock is cooking?!"
  11. Got touch the carpet anemones? Very shiok to see them sting you and stick to you.. I remember plucking one of these out from east coast beach few years ago during low tide.
  12. Isopods are what you have..these are like leeches that suck blood from the fish. Best if you get maybe a wrasse of some sort to finish them off..Hyposalinity willkill them too.. biological control is better option though. Since most probably they are all over in your tank. I might get slammed for this suggestion..but if the infestation is really bad a cleaner wrasse might be considered. Sacrifice one fish to save others. A six line wrasse might help too..but these tend to get aggressive over time.
  13. Depends on the hardiness of the fish too. For puffers and damselfish I don't see much problems. If its more sensitive fishes like clownfish or gobies I would most probably give it about an acclimatization period of maybe 10-20 minutes.
  14. Most helpful of you..have'nt met you before. Would be my pleasure to meet up with you when I return to Sg.
  15. Fish can withstand salinity fluctuations better than crustaceans...from 1.019 to 1.024 should'nt be a problem..although a slow acclimatization should make it less stressful on the fish
  16. Try feeding it mysis during the night when its tentacles are extended. It will help it to recover from bleaching.
  17. Hey Chinmo bro...if I return to Sg I might give seahorsies a try...and maybe some pipefish species. Will need your guidance then!
  18. Avoid the common boxer Stenopus hispidus. Stenopus scutellatus, Stenopus tenuirostris, Stenopus devaneyi make better choices as I have kept these before and they don't exhibit much aggression to small fish except to their own kind. My S.devaneyi was actually about 2-3 times the size of my S.tenuirostris but it got bullied by the small fella as it was in the tank first. A link I found..not in English See so peaceful..
  19. Oh yea..looks much larger than kuda fries. I think in species like this one with low fecundity fries tend to be larger in size. Probably to maximize survival to compensate for smaller clutch size.
  20. Chatuchak is exotic haven.
  21. Isopod infestation. Nuke it manually using forceps before it reproduces and infestations become unmanageable. You mean 3mm? 3cm would be an overgrown parasite!
  22. Transport stress? Sudden salinity shock?
