  1. No need to fight la..10 or 20 years from now maybe can clone a Paris Hilton look-alike.
  2. Coralline... I can imagine the calcium and carbonate uptake per day by the coralline algae itself..
  3. Thanks Reefaholic but kind of getting from a farm.. Think they also will need it for their own use. Can be used to get rid of external parasites when applied as a bath. Got to do the dosage correctly and stick to the appropriate time. Can be used for both fish and sensitive crustaceans like blood shrimps (I tried, they did'nt die).
  4. Nope. As long as there is enough detritus on the floor. Sand is not compulsory.
  5. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Di....cfm?pCatId=628 Looking for breeding size adults only..
  6. Tap water...? Besides that I can't think of any other way...
  7. Still in original casing with cdkey. Reason for selling is that I still can't get used to playing it, can't operate the planes and helicopters without crashing. Still prefer cs:source. Bought in July, selling for sgd $45. Pm me for details.
  8. Rofl must post picture of my algae infested tanks when I'm home. No water changes since febuary, weipro skimmer, no DSB..nitrates are at 2 ppm (Salifert). Maybe the single bag of biohome or the algae itself? After solving phosphate problems maybe can keep sps already
  9. Just start topping up with R/O or distilled water from now. The silicates will get used up eventually and with no new introduction of silicates your diatoms should die off naturally.
  10. Looking for the above in Sg...not laboratory formalin. Anyone knows where to get it?
  11. Ok here is what I have memorised from reading the instructions. First step: Dilution Dilute 125 g of Selco with 1 liter of seawater. Second step : Enrichment Take 0.6 mL of the diluted selco to enrich 1 liter of Artemia (up to 300, 000 Artemia nauplii) So actually 100 mL can last you quite a while if you scale down the dilution..like 1.25 g per 10 mL of water.
  12. Hmm.. will update the next day as its now in the fridge and I'm not home to check it. But basically, I just use as much as I'm comfortable with. Might seem wasteful but it still works. If I'm not wrong you mix 0.6 grams of Selco with 1 liter of water to get a solution which is then supplied the brine shrimp for enrichment overnight. Will post the exact dosage tomorrow.
  13. I got the concentrated one, not diluted (it's thicker than liquid detergent) or rebranded. Pm me for details http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=42566
  14. It is the tangaroa goby..fin colour can vary between individuals..
  15. Oh yes, you get to keep the original bottle if you purchase 800 mL. Any quantities smaller than that I will have no choice but to repack into plastic cups.
  16. Good for enriching Artemia before feeding fish like Anthias, seahorses, etc. http://www.primo.net.au/test/?page=detail&...catlist&refid=4 The exact stuff from INVE. Ordered from primo.net.au. Will be bringing to Singapore soon. Only ordered a 1 liter bottle but I will only be keeping around 200 mL of it. Still unopened and expires in June 2006. I have absorbed majority of freight costs as I have ordered other stuff as well. The rest of the 800 mL going out for SGD $195 or 100 mL for SGD $25. Place your orders below if you don't mind it being around the same price as hard liquor.
  17. No problem..better local breeding = cheaper prices for everyone.. Imagine reidi $10 a pc in few years time.
  18. Ok..will tell the people not to.. don't want a bag of fish poop.
  19. Can't agree more..the press always protects government bodies, by censoring potentially truthful and damaging articles while publishing less political ones. Even if an article is meant to advise, the press can edit it such that it potrays the writer as being antangonistic.
  20. When mushies are stressed physically (something landing on them, etc) they will regurgitate their innards (white stringy stuff). After a minutes under they will absorb them back...it's normal.
  21. My flight is in early morning even before the shop opens and it's the only flight that I can take to meet my schedule. The shop closes 4pm the day before so that's the latest I can collect the fish. Oh well, probably just have to put the fish in air-conditioning to lower their O2 consumption.
  22. Clownfish..from Aus to Sg..but they will be in the bag for 27 hrs as I will be collecting them a day before as I am unable to pick them up on the day itself because the shop will not be open so early.
  23. Hi guys..anyone knows if fish the size of damsels can survive in a bag with pure oxygen for 27 hrs? Only looking at maybe 2 damsels for 1.5 liters of water. Any optimal air/water ratio I should take note of?
