  2. Also to add...one hand sized brown monti-cap I bought to test my water before buying the cup coral. Polyps opening clearing for $15. Unsure of the original color.
  3. 4 polyps opened up partially today. Guess just have to be a little more patient.
  4. Another pic..both pics taken with flash.
  5. Check this hermit out. Black body with yellow spots. So far been behaving, lost no fish nor corals to them yet. They seem to be content grazing on algae. Smaller than the blue legged hermit.
  6. kH level between 8-10 should be fine.
  7. Someone sponsor my entrance then I go, saving $ lah..

  9. I don't really see the point. Corals sold in Malaysia are higher priced compared to corals in Singapore and the quality is not really there. Unless he can get really exclusive items then it's a different story.
  10. Really interesting fish, behave like hawkfish and totally reef safe. Best thing is that they stay small..
  11. Still waiting for the polyps to open. Other sps polyps opening without any problems..somehow this piece does'nt open up that easily. But no signs of tissue recession or anything, still seems rather healthy.
  12. Skim for only few hours a day? Try skimming during the night while not skimming in the day? LPS needs some nutrients too.
  13. Don't skim too much and don't use too much carbon if not you will be starving the poor yuma.
  14. Here they are..I suspect I have 2 males and one large female. The males always fight mildly by opening their mouths real wide..quite a display..
  15. No choice..going out for supper soon..so might as well get my lazy bum to take the pics. Pardon my poor photography skills..
  16. Pic taken without flash. When viewed from the top some bubble tips appear pink.
  17. Yep...they become more buoyant when they are inflated with water.
  18. Yep..from Golden Octopus..the one which escaped many eyes..except yours and maybe a few others..
  19. And it's not dyed...cause if you look at it it's actually more on the green side. But if you take pic without flash and if it was placed under MH it appears blue.
  20. That's why now when I'm back in Sg when I buy stuff I don't bargain anymore.
  21. They move by inflating themselves with water, and allow the current to carry them around.
  22. Not sure if I selling the mini one..my friend feels like keeping it for himself..However the one that's for sale is the same color, just that its about palm size when fully opened.
