Sea dragons in captivity tend to be prone to protozoan infections in the gut which needs specialized veterinarians to keep such infections in check by the ###### administration of medication. Failure to do so and the animals stop feeding completely and death follows.
Land hermits can be kept but you will need to have experience with them. You will probably need to join a dedicated hermit crab forum to learn how to keep a land hermit alive more than just a few months. They are just as difficult as seahorses. As far as I know no one sells hermit crabs locally while also providing sufficient information to keep them alive in the long run. Wait till land hermits moult and you will get what I mean. Those hermits in the picture are strawberry hermit crabs native to Australia. Supposedly wild collection for the aquarium trade has been banned or probably very strictly regulated (for research, etc).
Peppermint shrimps refer to a group of shrimps which have close resemblence. They include shrimps like L. wurdemanni, L. rathbunae, L. californica and two more species which are currently being described. All have been documented to eat Aiptasia. It's rather hard to differenciate certain species from one another unless you are well versed in crustacean anatomy.
Collection in marine parade or bedok area. (not sure if other people are experiencing the same problem but I had to refresh another time before I noticed my post actually got displayed).
I have 2 pairs of Zebrida adamsii crabs for sale. Been in captivity for over a month. Seems to do fine without any sea urchin hosts and urchins seem to do better without the crabs. Small urchins can literally be killed by the parasitic actions of such crabs. Each pair going for $15.

In protogynous hermaphrodites (PH), females will morph into males. This does happen due to the influence of social environment but it can happen as well if you keep an individual. In nature, males of PH are limited thus it will always appear favourable to morph into males. In aquariums where territory is limited and dominance can easily be gained I would'nt be surprised if single fish choose to morph into males. The same applies for flame angels. ###### reversal back to female is also possible, but it is not such a common occurrence that could occur in the confines of an aquarium. Males would probably kill each other before ###### reversal could be accomplished.
Hi Chris. Since your fridmani has been in your care for quite some time, it is likely that it has morphed into a male and will end up fighting with my male. To pair up fish that are able to change ###### it is best to introduce them at the same time when they are young.
The black ocellaris are going for $140 for the pair if they can be collected by this coming Thursday. They are about 1.25 inch in total length.
