  5. I believe that would be a very valid concern for anyone selling cultures. Just curious, how is breeding mandarin fish profitable in Bangkok?
  6. http://www.saltcorner.com/sections/guest/t...n/QA_SeaPen.htm If you want rotifers, Reborn at lavender st does sell frozen rotifers.
  7. Their natural substrate is very fine sand/silt. It probably has difficulty in anchoring itself as I think your sand size might be too large. You can help it by creating a depression in your sand, insert a length of pvc tubing all the way down the sand column. Place the base of the sea pen in the pvc pipe and hope it stays there.
  8. I have emailed the person in charge. She has yet to get back to me but did mention that shipping to Singapore is possible.
  9. It's Elacatinus evelynae, a true species.
  10. I stopped breeding Banggais. The time, effort and food way exceeds the market price of $3-$5 per fish.
  11. You need to feed bbs more often, especially at the beginning. They provide important enzymes which will help kick-start the digestive enzymes in the gut of the fish. Rotifers will do that too but they are too small for banggais. After 2-3 days of feeding bbs you will have to enrich the bbs with fatty acids like DHA, which is why I passed you the Selco. If you skip this step, fishes easily go into shock and they just die.
  12. Best part of it is that Banggai cardinals are considered endangered by the scientific community and was recommended to be included in CITES. CITES has effectively failed by not including Banggais in Appendix II...since 2007 Read the link below for the full story http://www.marinebreeder.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1123
  13. Long term effect would probably only be infertility. Most copper treatments I know of should not be performed together with hyposalinity.

  19. Dun say until like that..later my head swell too much. Not as pro as the U.S or German breeders yet, who are able to breed pygmy angelfish like C. interruptus or mandarinfish. Still on a very steep learning curve..
