  1. Looking for second hand 1262s. Do let me know if you are letting off.
  2. Hi Bro, if I had the tank space I would consider. Keeping A. chrysopterus alive is already a challenge. I have a stable male but I would be hunting for a stable female. I would like to pretty much breed A. chrysopterus if possible. The offspring are real beautiful, bright red with 3 white stripes. I believe for WC fish with ridiculously low survival rates, captive breeding is the only sustainable solution.
  3. Breeding seahorses are tough, due to the food supply issues as the fry grow. What are you using for enrichment at the moment? I can spare you some Algamac 3000 if you need.
  4. Water height seems ok. Break-in period depends on the skimmer material, not the feed pump.
  5. New skimmers will take more than a day to break in. 3-4 days is not uncommon.
  6. Flood your tank with 10-20 peppermint shrimp. Confirm they will tackle your aiptasia. The bigger the numbers the more effective.
  7. http://reefkeeping.com/joomla/index.php/cu...eefkeeping-101- There is an interesting write-up on using chilled seawater to remove pests like flatworms.
  8. If seahares die within a week it is most likely due to insufficient acclimatization, either at the LFS/farm side or at the buyer's side.
  9. I am looking for purple death palys. If anyone has the following to trade do let me know.
  10. No la I not so rich to get that. If I can just see it in person I happy already.
  11. Check out this from liveaquaria. http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/ItemD...&ddid=71783
  12. Ahbeng got a 2ft long unicorn. Also some perculas. Orange banded pipefish (one of the most beautiful but delicate pipefish species to keep). Golden octopus has many nice and healthy clove polyps. Very rare to see such good condition clavularia.
  13. Platinum percula price in U.S drop already. Now is around USD $700 or less for a pair. Tasselled wobbegong, Eucrossorinus dasypogon, spotted in LCK at a very attractive price. This shark grows slightly above 1m max. Now it is only a 1 foot long baby.
  14. Change water daily until conditions improve. If will help if you can siphon the tank bottom as well.
  15. LCK has some beautiful Meiacanthus mossambicus aka Mozambique Fang Blenny. Not commonly seen. Also african flamebacks, flame angels, orchid dottybacks, midas blenny, etc
  16. It depends more on your ambient temperature. On warmer days my chiller does take longer to chill the water. The chiller manual should indicate the recommended flowrate.
  17. Try feeding live adult brine shrimp to initiate feeding response. Gutload them with Selcon for 24 hours prior to feeding. Reef depot has Selcon.
  18. Polychaetes blood seem mostly brownish-red, fishing kakis should know. The blue could be emitted by some kind of bacterial activity.
  19. A site which I stumbled upon. http://www.jelliquarium.com/ProductDetails...?productID=3830
  20. I have just come to realize that these fish are able to take live adult brine shrimp. This fact will certainly make them easier to keep, although the adult brine shrimp will have to be enriched prior to feeding.
  21. If only we can see black footed lionfish, Parapterois heterura, on our shores. http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11_03/pr...oot_parent_id=4 http://dk.reeflex.net/tiere/2555_Parapterois_heterura.htm Awesome fish..
  22. 2 pc ornate ghost pipefish just arrived at CF. Those with dedicated refugiums/frag tanks can try them.
