I have not prepared the tank yet. I'll be sourcing for a good looking light fixture to hold the lamps. These lamps are'nt light. Estimated weight per piece is as heavy as a can of coke.
I just received my 2 units yesterday. Any lobang for a flexible light holder? I was thinking of those that they use for reptile basking spotlights. Are all your units 12K? Mine are 12K but was wondering how 20K lights would look. I actually am using these lights for a pico tank that is the same size as Marcello's. Thinking of adding in a Vortech MP10..
Hi Zorden,
The flying gunards that usually come in are rather small, usually only 2-3" in length. Ahbeng used to bring in 2-3" solefish, beige body with blue stripes.
Goby freaks,
CF has one pc of this..in their "betta box" at the back row of tanks.
Lots of Griessingeri gobies too...if only they have this similar looking species.
It does help if you use enough and your skimmer is sufficiently sized. My nitrates are <1 ppm. I feed an equivalent of half a pack of mysis a day. Phosphates is a different thing though..
Wah...if you can leave most of the sandbed open, can keep a lot of interesting fish. Think of flying gunards, sea moths, dwarf lionfish.. even solefish.. or even the wobbegong shark at LCK which eats mollusks.
