  4. Go for 60 degree optics, 40 will be too narrow. I know as I am using 40 degrees optics.
  5. Selling as I need to utilize their tanks for other fish: 1 pair of Amphiprion akindynos - $150. This is the nicer color variant from Great Barrier Reef, with cinnamon body and blue bars. Female is around 4", male around 2". 1 pair of Amphiprion allardi - $80. Yellow tail variant. Female is 5", male is 2.5" Both pairs have been with me for more than a year and eat like pigs. Very healthy, no brooklynella. Interested parties drop me a pm, collection & viewing will be at Marine Parade area.
  6. Ups. Perculas can be normal percs, but must be breeding pair. Thanks.
  7. Not a common item, trying my luck. If anyone has one to let off do pm me. Thanks.
  8. Probably your kH is low. Try buffering it up with commercial kH buffers or sodium bicarbonate. If your kH is above 8 and the pH is still low, it means that you are not driving the CO2 out of your water fast enough. Increased aeration in the sump will help, alternatively reduce your stocking if you have a lot of fish.
  9. If you use DI water for the initial start up and DI water throughout water changes and top ups, you will hardly have silicate issues.

  11. Amphiprion chrysopterus, white-tailed variant. Coralfarm has them from time to time, very touchy fish. They always appear healthy, until they get to your tank.
  12. Where got 5kg so much. It's only max 5 pcs with each pc not exceeding palm size and total weight not exceeding 5kg. I am sure the 5kg includes the water.
  13. Which species? I got 2 species which pulse, both at my friend's holding facility. One is the same species as my fibre optic sinularia, only that the polyps are not green but they pulse. Mine does not pulse though. The other species is the one that Americans usually term pulsing sinularia.
  14. Often overlooked beauties, Tubipora musica aka pipe organ corals from Fiji. Have been waiting for these for like almost forever. Thanks Iwarna!
  15. Yes, 200 baht a day is considered a lot of money for many of them.
  16. Lol few more days to Songkran & my friends are still going ahead. Sometimes people just crave a little chaos.
  17. I don't understand the logic of this. 8 holes machine dug and you guys had to dig 2 holes manually? Could have just used the machine for the remaining 2 holes. Perhaps if that was the case the remaining 2 holes could have been completed in a day. Talking about wasting resources, they did not fully utilize you guys.
  18. Those shops selling discus will have. The shop in front of Irene's shop at Pasir Ris sells them. Think around $6 each.
  19. ORA neon green toadstool is from Indo-pacific. It is the same species. The polyps tend to get slightly longer over time in captivity. The Tyree toadstool from what I heard originated from Africa, with slightly longer polyps and more stalked. Have not seen any fully red polyp ones but I have seen polyps with deep maroon brown color with yellow-orangey tips.
  20. TLF products spotted at Iwarna. Check out Coral Revive, only limited bottles. Two Little Fishies ReVive Coral Cleaner™ is a new product developed by Julian Sprung for cleansing live stony corals. It is a surface cleaning formula based on plant extracts. Use for all general purpose live coral cleansing, as a part of acclimation to aquariums when corals are first received, for rinsing prior to shipping, and for rinsing newly fragmented corals, such as at coral farming facilities. 500 ml (16.8 fl oz) bottle.
  21. Glad to see you around. Do let me know if you need any help.
  22. One of the more ridiculously expensive leathers, Japanese leather.
  23. 2 different neon green toadstools, similar morph to ORA neon green toadstool. Taken in the same tank, under the same lights and same camera settings. Picture taken from top as normal glass distorts the true color.
