Personally I don't really find platinum clowns attractive. They seem to be more silver than white. I rather go for white ocellaris. One of my pairs. Had the pairs for months already.

The algae has got to be one of the best I have tried. Usually clownfish larvae after hatching the next morning sure a huge percentage die off (usually anywhere from 10-40%). I dosed last night prior to clownfish hatching and this morning only got 3-4 dead larvae out of the entire clutch. Coincidence? I don't know.

The base color is purplish blue. It's either a rainbow monti or a pokerstar monti, I cannot be sure. I have to split the 13ml of each part into 5 separate doses to prevent spiking my pH too much.

It's the commercial dip-in coil chiller. I'm not really sure what the coating is but it feels like some kind of polymer of sorts. The coating seems quite durable and should not come off, unless the coil is being dragged about on rough surfaces (unlikely to happen in the sump anyway).

Comets do not seem tricky to raise. Only thing is that you probably need a big tank to pair them and get them spawning. Anything less than a 4 footer probably won't work.

Saw 2 of these there today. But looks exactly like the one pictured, body dark. I suspect they can change color due to mood though. These fish are frustrating to observe, they only move 10% of the day.
