It's those type you find in the restaurants..those with thick long feelers but dun have pincers big enough to actually catch fish. Mainly feed on dead stuff and things in your debris. Mine was given to me by a friend as it kept jumping out of his tank. It's still small..about the length of index finger w/o the feelers. Body blue in color..the tail is luminous green (jade-like). Very nice and gentle giant. My harlequin shrimp just chased it away from its precious sea star.

Another thing about OHF is that it is resting on your tank...adding extra weight....something to think about if your tank is using 6mm glass.

When the dog charges at you...don't run..it will only trigger their chase response...you can either stand still and hope it's only doing a bluff...or if you are more brave..you can counter-charge the dog. Even hyenas will think twice about really attacking something taller than themselves...not to mention a domesticated dog. I think most of them would rather leave humans alone...just like how most humans would leave dogs alone... But as complex as nature is...there will always be exceptions.

Some lobsters can be quite predatory...especially if he meant the reef lobsters. I am keeping a lobster with my pipefish..it's behaving because he has no legs adapted for catching fish. It does'nt even have pincers. Mostly at night come out and shift through my sand..

Wow..nice..wonder how come no clownfish. They should include the trigger nipping the fin of the lionfish...and the lionfish eating the royal gramma.

Not really the temperature. It's either not getting enough light...or there's something wrong with the water that's bothering it..

Hmmm...all my years of fishkeeping and I have never once dechlorinated my water...think I should start and see what's the difference..... if any....

Place the prawn onto its tentacles. It would close up and engulf the prawn. One thing to take note...Do NOT overfeed anemones. They are invertebrates..hence they have a low metabolic rate. Excessive feeding might do them more harm than good as they have to use extra energy reserves to digest the food. I would recommend once a week as a good guide. The maximum I would go is twice a week. Also remember that two small feedings is always better than 1 BIG feeding. Feeding too much can cause certain anemones to have shorter tentacles. Best is not to feed to much...but bathe them with LOTS of light. If the light problem is an issue...get a tube anemone. Those don't require lighting...but they don't host clownfish..and may eat smaller fish/inverts.

LiQ**D DeS*** at tanjong katong rd....today i went down..they had blue ring octopus for like $10!?!!?!?!?!?! I had no idea blue rings were so cheap. If I had an escape proof tank I would definitely have got it....put in my 4 feet later it escape n bite me when I sleeping..then I no need wake up already.
