I just put my fingers into my water today and could feel electricity. Something like ants biting my fingers...dunno why...but I like getting addicted to feeling the electric current.
But how come...I can feel...but how come my fish and inverts are all happy with being electrocuted?
Wahahah..you all very bad to Dr Evil leh.....
Dr Evil..think you can change profession liao.
Lucky I decide go for T5 instead...if not maybe I ask Dr Evil help me also.
Impossible to keep in aquarium for long.
IMO they are harder to keep compared to flame scallops.
They are very very FUSSY eaters. Somemore they are not filter-feeders. They actually trap plankton using mucus on their cilia. And not all plankton will be taken..only specific ones that they recognise.
Breeding sugar gliders.
Ball python
Normal burmese
Local sunbeam snake
Leopard gecko
Frilled dragon
Panther chameleon
Used to have darts and mantellas...should be picking up again...once I improve my terrarium ventilation problem.
Wah lao Ricordia..what makes you so certain Ah_D3x is in Singapore?
Cover is good. Prevents some fish that a prone to jumping to become ikan bilis. Although I had a cover...my fire goby managed to jump out of the ventilation holes twice...I wonder what is the probability of that happening manx...maybe it was plotting all along to escape..evil fish! Luckily i was around when it jumped out on both occassions.
Cover also eliminates salt spray....
But then one very troublesome thing is that whenever you have to add corals or remove dying stuff or to restack rocks you have to lift your cover before you can gain access your tank.
A cover also might make you feel less pessimistic...especially when they start the USELESS mosquito fogging exercise. I say it is useless as mosquitoes can slimpy fly away and fly back. Mosquito control should be aimed at mosquito larvae. Not the adult mosquito. Oh well....too bad most of the public gets reassured by the mosquito fogging. But I think aquarists like us FROWN upon fogging. We will have to cover our tanks with newspaper in case something in the fog kills all our precious livestock.
It depends on the individual fish. All individuals vary. There are never 2 fish that look the same. Just like humans..unless they are twins..but that's another thing.
I was once a member of BORG... HEhe...oh well...archmage was too addictive..had to break away from it...
Quit it immediately after I made it to hall in B3...I was in the first batch in the hall of fame.
Lucky my yellow tang not like yours...if not my flame scallops, anemone shrimp, tubeworms and pipefish's tail all gone liao. It did taste my pipefish's tail once...but I think it did'nt really like the taste.
Actinics not really needed for corals....it is true that blue spectrum aids in photosynthesis of certain corals...however...your 16000K lights should provide sufficient blue spectrum for them already. Adding more actinics would'nt really help much...except making your aquarium look more 'cool'. For aesthetic purposes mainly.....
Don't feed pellets then...I never liked pellets anyway...try those dried seaweed they use to cook soup. When dried they look black...When hydrated they are purplish..my yellow tang loves them!
