  1. *rush to take queue number* AHahhaa...I'm first! But actually whether the worm depends on the porites is still a controversial issue. Not enough research has been done on whether the worm benefits from the porites yet. I think...
  2. I talking nonsense only lah...now in some chap pa lang uni.....making me more stewpig....
  3. Think WC also. But I think should be easier to feed compared to other seahorses...they can take larger prey. Think its about $50 for one if I'm not wrong...but really worth it...they got sell live mysis shrimp too...can feed them that while you train urs to eat frozen mysis... Hehe...want go later have a look? I might be going...need to buy grasshoppers around there.
  4. I was wondering how often should I feed my sea fan..currently I'm feeding it every day with DT's plankton and the phyto bought at wat**cir*le. Yesterday I just squirted some frozen cyclops into my tank and the polyps on the sea fan actually managed to snare some and to consume them! Should I continue with the cyclops or should I feed phytoplankton only? I really love my sea fan!
  5. Hehe..i got that liaox....even never attack my anemone shrimp...and getting chased away by my harlequin from time to time..lol!
  6. Wow...where did you get one for $18?
  7. Flubberina..go get the H.Reidi...saw them myself...darn beautiful!
  8. Add a pipefish. Pipefish love eating those.
  9. Check whether you might have overdosed calcium or scrontium? I'm just making a guess..the yellow and black crystals sound abit towards iron or iodine based. Maybe there is some ionic imbalance in your water causing certain ions to precipitate out?
  10. Adding harlequin shrimps? MBwuHAHAhaa
  11. HEhe...he bought them from re***n. I was supposed to pass him 2 boxing crabs today (those that hold anemones)...but they died mysteriously while being held in my tank....mine is still alive though..maybe the container i put them in not enough circulation? Sigh...
  12. Okie... I shall DIY a ground probe myself.
  13. Me and a fren got 1 yellow coral goby each at a certain aquarium ....apparently they were healthy. However....both gobies have spread a whitespot outbreak in both my tank and his. My tank has been running for 4-5 months already..and so far it is the first goby I ever had to actually get whitespot. It has now passed it on to my yellow tang. ARGH! Darn it...I thought gobies were supposed to be almost immune to whitespot..or is the yellow coral goby an exception?
  14. Oh...so will there be any side effects on my tank inhabitants?? I thinking of getting my electrician to ground my tank water for me. Is it necessary??
  15. They don't wear any AHhahaa
  16. Saw 3 boxing crabs there today....those carrying anemones all the time. Bought them all at once. $6 each..hehe..might not be the cheapest..but oh well..they had full anemones and they were big.
  17. Oh..hehe...got confused between the two...what I meant was that heliofungia.sp easier to keep. 9/10 after 2 years...cause I don't dare to overdose...every 2-3 weeks add 0.5ml only. 1 ml will already raise iodine conc. in my tank by 0.04mg/l. Natural seawater has a conc. of 0.06mg/l. I don't know what is the lethal dosage. And I don't want to find out. And I have no idea how much iodine is taken up by my corals and other inverts. So I just play on the safe side lah...0.5ml every 2-3 weeks for my 180 litre tank.
  18. Wait 3 more weeks lah..sure cycled by then. Meanwhile can do some planning on what fish to keep and what corals to get.
  19. KaOz...evil flubberina! Hehe...k then..if you end up got more than 1 remember me h0r...i reserve!
  20. Tsktsk..give you one turbo snail in exchange for it? My tank no enough diatom for them to eat liao.
  21. Dr Evil...what fluorescent housing are you talking about? I don't know of any that include reflector...
