Many people buy them on impulse. Gonioporas don't do well in newly mature tanks. You won't see them expanding so much. So if anyone bought them on impulse...can put in my tank..I would'nt mind a whole tankful of gonioporas..

A beautiful coral...only when it opens up to its full glory. Longest polyp measured was 20cm+.

Somehow gonioporas do very well in my tank....not sure why also...so if any of you has any that are'nt opening well or doing well can just pass to me...I'll try my best to save them.

Wow..looks like AT does'nt go Re***n often. They have those eels quite frequently..bought 1 before...but it had problem with the food I was feeding it. Fussy little bugger. Anyway..if you do put one in your tank..you will only see it when it comes out...which is less often than a blood shrimp.

If I'm not wrong anaerobic bacteria need a source of suplur also? Maybe as sulphate? I'm not too sure..thought I read it somewhere b4

Bottom of the hood.

I have this hood for sale since I have switched to an open top concept. It can fit tanks of 4ftX1.5ftX1.5ft. Comes with 2 dual 36-40W Elbiru ballasts. Meaning up to 4 FL or PL or T5s can be fired up. Also two 4.5 inch square AC fans. The fans are connected to the same plug as the lights. Spacing behind the hood for wiring and tubing measures 10cm long on each side. The space on top of the hood can be closed with a sliding door. Comes with one T12 actinic tube. 3 pairs of the end caps will need replacement. Selling all for $40.

One thing about Weipro..don't follow the water level indicated on the body column...I stupidly did so until someone at an aquarium told me that the water level should be up to the neck..which was what I thought it should be...but sometimes I tend to trust instructions better than my own judgement. It is skimming coffee as I speak.

Dunno..never enquired the price of SPS before...I'm just waiting to see if this frag can recover from the abrasions caused by wave action as it was being washed up the shore.. If it does recover in my tank..then I might venture into sps...all depends on this frag..
