It's possible in small amounts..if you want your macroalgae to start bubbling like planted tanks..however...pls take note that it will not be good for the calcification of hard corals...

Ok..think I reduce to 7 hours then...my diatoms also starting to bloom...after 24 hours without cleaning my glass it get covered with them already....last time not like that one....

? When they are growing normally it is called asexual growth as they are propagating via rhizomes. When they start turning white, it is a sign of sexual reproduction as they have expended all their energy into forming gametes.
