Ya..temperature will have an effect on your specific gravity. Water can be more dense at a lower temperature, meaning you will read a higher specific gravity.

Ok..you will probably have to make sure he gets his share everyday. Feel happy for you. Maybe 10++ mysis shrimp a day would be a safe number.

Awesome tank..don't worry about the algae. They normally occur in phases. After 4-5 months should totally go away by themselves. A few things to point out though... The pink tip heliofungia you have in your tank...they are naturally found on sand beds. Maybe it would be more comfy on the sand? Watch the sting thou...its sting is quite strong to other corals.
