  1. Mine is because the reflector I got could only house 3 pairs of T5 waterproof endcaps inside.....
  2. Hmmmm...maybe it is live when it is in the bottle..but it does not imply it can live long once you pour it into your tank. Differences in temperature, pH, salinity, etc will surely shock the phytoplankton giving it a very very short survival period in your tank. Try overdosing and you will get an algae bloom..personal experience.
  3. Wah..same reason why I only used 3 tubes instead of 4....
  4. Ok..next time if I wanna change 1 tube to sunpro maybe can switch with you..then you get some blue spectrum while I get a lil more yellow spectrum..
  5. Using 3X 54W ATI aquablue. My water depth is onli about 15inches and the width of my tank onli 18 inches..I concentrate the light in the center of my tank whereby my sps frags are onli 3 inches from the water surface. I'm contemplating whether to switch to sunpro..but I think sunpro will make my tank have the 'yellowish' look..I'll stick to aquablue which is around 10,000K and see how it goes..
  6. I'm keeping 3 frags so far using T5s...one tricolor acro..one blue-tip staghorn..one more dunno what it is... But so far...not turning brown..been quite long already..no rtn also...starting to color up..onli one part of the tricolor rather pale..think becoz mucus attack by a leather..moved it to the far end of the tank now.. Regarding lights I think that if you are using T5s it is best that your water depth does exceed 18 inches and that you put your sps right at the top near the water surface to capture the most light. Light intensity drops as it goes thru water..refraction of light...
  7. IT's NOT saddam i tell you!!!...I think saddam will rather risk dying and taking a few americans along with him rather than just sit and await capture. SADDAM IS OUT THERE!
  8. I don't think such a tank will be big enough for a seahorse regardless of species. You should just set up an individual tank for it.
  9. It's a local species. You might wanna check up its identity to make sure what it eats. Anyway...why did you place your clam like that?!
  10. Hmmm..got some downgrade instead..
  11. Next time in future will have violet maroon clowns..
  12. Hmmmm...something like this? Copyrighted hor..lolx
  13. It's not the amount of watts. It's the amount of light hitting the place that you are placing them.
  14. hmmm..funny leh..i final yr oso but like quite relak leh..
  15. Erm...3 6500K NEC FL tubes and one actinic. lol
  16. get 400W....you won't have to upgrade anymore in future.
  17. Hmmm..i tink providing buyers with a contact for ppl to move the tank will be a boost. Most ppl are afraid of moving the tank I guess...
  18. The black part could be due to dead sponges or encrusting sponges>? Just have strong lights, high calcium levels and high kH and you coralline will come back in no time.
  19. Not only endangered ones... Some VERY common and captive bred ones also cannot.
  20. If there were such nice pratas...they definitely won't be found in sg.. Probably will go to U.S, Japan or Germany.
  21. I've had bleached bubble corals colouring up under FL lighting.... One of the bullet-proof lps...
  22. Hold it in ur hand and you'll never forget what a bristleworm looks like.
