If you are talking about carpet anemones..those are quite hardy..but they tend to be dangerous to everything else around them.

Most probably might be the boxing shrimp. Could be crabs too. Don't be too worried. Just feed it fat fat and it should recover soon. -
Erm..maybe start a new thread...under 'New to marine hobby' section...not nice to hijack..
-
I myself have no idea what is a Chaetomorpha...maybe can give a common name or attach a picture? I think people like me will be too lazy to check on the net...
-
They are nearly impossible to keep alive by newbies. And they give newbies high blood pressure later on..

Cause I'll be out at around 5 already.

I can't imagine the number of pms i would have by next tuesday... If you really want a piece..you could outbid the person who reserved it..since there is so much time till next tuesday...However, I reserve the right on who I sell the corals too...aquaintances and ppl I know would have priority. I REPEAT........DUN PM ME! Leave your interests in this thread! Collection would be next tuesday...between 1-4pm..time to be confirmed later. Pls bring your own plastic bags...I don't think i will have any of suitable size...sorry for the inconvenience. Firstly...my own...star polyps and leather..going from $5 each...

Yep..guess morgan was right..i was wondering..how did you manage to get a brain that was flat? normally you find them in boulder shapes.
-
wow..really evil..btw..u not worried about the heat produced? Installed any form of ventilation in the casing?

No point trying to buffer the dKH...i tried it after i changed like 30% of my water....and my corals responded badly again even though i dripped it in over 4-5 hours... Leave your kH at 7...it is perfectly FINE. Just keep changing water... At that kH your corals will grow slower only..they wun die. I'll probably keep changing water for the next 1 month before i decide to do anything.

Diatoms do make use of light energy..they also utilize silicates from your water. Which explains why they always bloom after a waterchange. Singapore's tap water contains silicates.

Hi sugi! Hi five man..you're facing the same problem with me.. From what I am doing now, I can say adding ridiculous amounts of reef builder to increase carbonate hardness will not help. Neither will dosing kalk..your calcium levels will only escalate more,... Only thing you can do now is to change about 70% or more of your tank water. Do it SLOWLY. I'm changing 1/5th of my water every 3 days now.
-
Resize it using ms paint...use the stretch/skew option.
-
Looks like Platygyra sp. from the pic...but then it's only a guess of mine.

From http://coralreef.nus.edu.sg/gallery/hcoral.htm It belongs to the family faviidae. Not sure of the exact species though.
