Hmmm..I feed them garlic every 3-4 days. If they ever get ich it will be garlic everyday till they recover.
Besides that feed them 3-4 short meals a day..
Some hunt fish by harpooning them. You will have to know how to tell them apart.
Other detritivores that you can use are sea cukes, sea stars (linkia and other reef-safe type), dwarf hermits, nassarius snails, small bristleworms, etc.
Sold of my yellow watchman as it was being aggressive to my yashia..now hopefully it does not get eaten by the sri lankan pistol while trying to pair up.
Oh..those at reborn are definitely fiddlers or intertidal crabs of some sort. Notice that if you keep them submerged for long periods of time they will actually drown. (which is why there is something for them to climb onto in the holding tank...finally there is!)
My guess is still that it's a female fiddler crab. Female fiddler crabs have both claws short.
Notice the eyes are located on eye stalks that rests in grooves. Very characteristic of intertidal crabs.
CR2...dual chamber I think. The 2nd chamber helps to burn off excess CO2 so that the resulting effluent pH will be higher. If you are worried about excess CO2 entering your tank due to high CO2 input then it is best to get CR2
OK..switched my lights on 30 mins earlier today to take some pictures. Noticed diatoms were still around. Think it might take few more days for them to starve and go away.
Anyway..the awaited pics of my yashia. Finally it became bold to swim out in the open.
