  1. Oh yes..I live in the east around bedok mrt. You can always frag the black sun if you find the skeleton an eyesore..
  2. The free black sun..got this fella for $15. Has not been doing well as I have been too lazy in feeding it daily..sometimes it just slips my mind..
  3. Pipe organ...going for $8. Buy it and get the below black sun coral for free.
  4. The skeleton of the pink open brain has a diameter of about half the length your palm.
  5. If you lower the salinity gradually it would'nt really affect the ich much. Unless you do a drastic salinity drop. Lower salinity basically helps to fight off ich by reducing the stress placed on the fish to osmoregulate when they're infected. The ich parasite most likely won't be affected much by the salinity drop, however the immunity of the fish should increase.
  6. It's a visual trick...cause I took the photo with zoom. Anyway..considering their size, they're quite large already since they're tank bred. Mine's about 2cm plus?
  7. You have to start to train them to eat mysis...purposely leave some mysis on the sand bed..hopefully their curiosity will kick in.. They won't last on a diet of pods alone in the tank...they will consume pods faster than the pods can reproduce..
  8. Hmm...AT..if you need pest control can always pm me...I'll do it for free.
  9. ........you will end up killing your fish..
  10. Try feeding food soaked with commercial human grade garlic oil. Works wonders. Brands I find effective are Raffles and Ultimate Health. Available from robinsons and john little.
  11. Yea..amazing..considering I only using 3 tubes.. Hope to get myself to add another tube soon. This time the last tube gonna be an ATI sunpro. Will sure make my tank glaring enough. That's why I think some ppl say there is more to acro than just lights...but I think it would be no harm to add more lights. Currently feeding them everyday with GP and coralplankton.
  12. Octopus Bay Awesome open brains (pink, green with maroon) Awesome pratas (some as green as watermelons, some very orange) Attractive pricing too.
  13. No lah AT..those are very very different. Got very long legs..like the daddy long leg spiders...*goosebumps*
  14. Sideshot...my pink scroll started bleaching a few days ago at the lower portion..not sure why..maybe I was a little lazy in my water topups. Now paid more attention..starting to regain its color already.. And there at the far end is the purple firegoby..the darn bugger that I have been trying to catch for weeks.
  15. The best I found so far....you must let it set awhile out of water for best effects..
  16. Finally got my a** moving yesterday...went to buy selley's knead it..and started epoxing everything and rescaped a little..
  17. Pipefish front...tangora goby being cleaned by periclimenes tenuipes. Hard to take pic of the shrimp..so transparent..
  18. You've got to take the ambient room temperature into account too..not just the fan. I can sustain my tank with a fan..but its also probably because my place is very windy.. You can try T5s. They kind of rock.
  19. I saw them eating while they were being fed at PR, so should be no problems. Just target feed them with a syringe or something if they are shy to emerge. Oh yes derf, a little sidetrack..if your helfrich is not a mated pair one might actually have become dominant and has been bullying the other one. IMO it would be best to separate them. I once had a 'pair' of firefish that were getting along fine and sleeping together... one fine day one of them slimpy wacked the daylights out of the other. In the end the other one was literally bullied to death. And it had no brains to swim to the other side of the tank to escape the bully.
  20. Wow...nice site AT! Finally can identify one of my shrimps..Periclimenes tenuipes..
  21. Huh...you mean previously your tank no sump nor skimmer? Ahhaa..nvm..last time I also no sump one.
  22. Go for maxijet 600. Uses minimal electricity and contributes minimal heat to the water.
  23. I'm only using one of these fans on my 4X1.5X1.5 and it can keep my water temp around 28...can reach 26-27 on cooler days. However, it runs 24/7. Do take into mind that powerheads and water pumps will contribute heat to your water too.
  24. Scooters don't take cyclops. Cyclopeeze is too small for their liking....
