  1. Oh ok..thanks..I was thinking somewhere around 2000+ l per hour.
  2. Hmm..maybe I sway..picked a murderous blue tang. After that episode got phobia of blue tang already...
  3. Eh? Got 2 blue tangs? Keep an eye on them. I once kept 3 before in my old 4 footer which cracked n leaked...they got along fine for months..1 day the dominant one decided to murder the smaller two one by one... They were only juveniles! Only about thumb length?
  4. Ya..was set up as Tee off...but if have difficulty finding a higher capacity pump then maybe I get another dedicated pump just to run my returns. Then will have 2 submersed pumps in my sump..hopefully the temperature dun kill me.
  5. Will consider another pump around 3000 lph flowrate. Pm me best price. Thanks.
  6. An underated 2970l per hour weipro 4000? Using it for return and the fluidized reactor now. Now the return rate to my tank very slow. Must start searching for a new pump.
  7. Now not so heavy bioload..esp after I sold off my favourite fishes..which were the biggest poopers. 1 fat yellow tang and a pair of fat true percs.
  8. AHhaha..me too..from far you see 0 fish. Go close and count easily 10+ fishes.
  9. Yea I know..it has grew insanely since I got it. Have always wanted to bring down to a nearby LFS to trade it in..but somehow it always seems to slip my mind.
  10. Sorry bro...just realised did'nt post that pic in this section yet..anyway..here it is.
  11. 2nd pic..hovering carbon..about half a bottle of reefez carbon. Hope the hovering can be seen.
  12. Got it running today..some pics...I will make the media fly higher once I find a more powerful pump. First pic...flying rowaphos . 500g of it. Imagine how much more I can put.
  13. Is there enough lighting? The zoanthids seem to be stretching for lights..?
  14. Hmm..that should'nt be a problem..but heat would..and electricity bills in the long run.
  15. 2XT5s can actually be better than 4XPLs. 24W T5s from Glare are rather affordable, slightly more than PLs only.
  16. Go for T5s. You will have to replace PLs very often which means you will end up spending more in the long run. Furthermore, by the time you realise the PL has dropped in intensity normally your corals would not be doing that well by then.
  17. Got an eheim professional 2226 for sale @ $90 with U-tube but without hoses.
  18. Don't worry too much about bubbles..they are rather tough LPS.
  19. Wrong section to post in..anyway..nothing looks abnormal to me..
  20. Anyone? Hailea 6450 pumps will be considered if price is ok..thanks.
  21. Besides the base fertilizer, gold7 and E15 I did'nt really use anything else. To increase the kH I just used baking soda.

  23. Got a Eheim professional 2226 to let go. Pipings are available if you want. For the hose you'll have to buy new ones. Going for $90.
  24. They feed on phytoplankton. Nutrients alone won't sustain them for long.
