  1. Read from one of your posts you live in kembangan wat...
  2. If you run all the more the dog will chase you...you'll activate its basic instinct to 'hunt'. What I did was I just walk slowly and let them follow..after awhile they'll get bored and go back home. I actually had a big black dog about the height of my waist escort me out from one of the lck farms for about 5-10 mins. It was walking next to me..other dogs don't dare approach me cause i got a doggyguard.
  3. Hmmm..you can always drop by my place to harvest the algae for your tang if you want..I stay very near you..
  4. oK...will drop by..can pm me your hp. no. and address? Well at least it does'nt look like rtn...just looks like the base is not getting enough light or current. Should do better once it is fragged.
  5. I'll take the sps this weekend or early next week if it is possible? Will frag for other reefers. I don't need the whole colony.
  6. My nightly feast...for my tank I mean..oranges for me.. Getting a little cyano..better cut down dosage.. GP was the first I got, followed by bioplankton then coralplankton..followed by selcon today..
  7. Hmmm..guess I'm one of the confused who is confused further..
  8. I had a carpet which once killed yellow longnose butterfly and even wandering flame scallops..
  9. Tonight my tank temp is 26.5! Only running on one profantec fan 24/7.. Anyway dradttg...maybe you try running on 3 fans 24 hours? If the average temperature is to your liking then just leave it be? Anyway...won't 6 fans evaporate alot of water?
  10. One word.. "Wow!" Just a concerned question..by plugging it directly to the tap are'nt you afraid of any chlorine or chloramine?
  11. Hmmm..around 5-6 inches if you are using grade 1 sand. If using purely grade 3 I think your sand bed needs to be alot deeper. Not too sure if grade 3 sand should be used to make dsb (it can be done, but would look like an eyesore). Just stick to grade 1 and all should be fine. I personally find grade 0 to be too fine. Just a personal opinion.
  12. I recommend dwarf zebra hermits if you are on a budget. ML brings them in from time to time. Very reef safe IMO. If you got $$ then buy scarlet hermit.
  13. If you're using grade 3 throughout you will need a deeper sand bed to achieve the conditions needed for denitrification to occur. This is mainly due to the overall porosity of the sand bed compared to let's say grade 0 sand. You could add maybe a 1-2cm of grade 3 above your dsb if you like. I'm using grade 3 myself and I find that amphipods love to live in the spaces between the grains.
  14. It's a good thing that seahorses are less available. Can safely say that most of the people purchasing them have no idea how to care for them. Also wild caught seahorses are rather hard to adapt to captive conditions.
  15. I'll take all 3 neon eviotas if they are still available.
  16. Anyone in east area can help me collect? I dun drive..go woodlands very far..
  17. It's a good pump if you don't mind the weight of it. If you drop it on your feet I think you would need to be hospitalized.
  18. Sleep time..my neon goby and one of my Jann's pipefish sleeping on their favourite algae bed on the I-box.
  19. My marine I using this kind of 4ft leh... Maybe other people can setup FOWLR tank?
  20. Yep..free...but will be passing some frags back to him when he gets his new tank set up.
  21. Should be reef-safe..in the wild they protect their acros from other organisms. I also got one acro with a white crab inside. I bought the acro because of the crab..not because of the acro.. Hmm..hope when gobies come I got $$...that why never go down ML get the sea squirt..still waiting for my blue one I got last time to encrust on the rock..it broke off the dull tunicate (only found out after numerous failed epoxying attempts) it was growing on..i've put them together in a bottle.
  22. Hehe...let's see whether it will like this location..
