Nah..I'm one of the weird bunch who don't watch soccer. Frankly still awake as I am nocturnal.
-
Abalone anyone? It's out now...i can just grab it! Oh yes..the pair of heliofungia shrimp price revised to $12. Need to go asap as they are looking for another host (which I don't have) as their host is not doing that well (98% dead)..Those with long tentacled plates should consider these cuties. They help to keep the coral free from debri.

Wah...don't scare him la...Meanpokman..You can do this to be sure...pick up one of your snails..place it at the 90 degree corner of the tank sides...Once it starts to adhere to the glass and start moving around use a small straw or any narrow object to gently irritate (poke gently) the foot of the snail. See what it does with its shell on the glass and see if the sound produced is what you hear. Alternatively remove the snails from the tank for one whole day and see if you continue to hear noise.
-
You want I got turbo snails to give for free. Then your tank more noisy.. Elderly turbo snails that have been kept by me for 2 years at least..
-
There...it's your turbo snails like I guessed. The sound of marbles knocking onto each other are similar to hard snail shells knocking repeatedly against the glass. Pistol or mantis shrimp clicks won't sound like that..They would sound sharp and shocking.. Furthermore they normally don't make the sounds in succession..

OooooOooo i see mr freezE!

Look more like rics..

Reserve item 3 for moi!

Your thread title reminded me of "I see dead people..they're everywhere!" Anyway, it could be evil turbo snails twitching their shells and knocking the glass.

Just looking at the stand..
-
Whoever buys the pink tip plate can pm me. I letting go a pair of shrimps that stay in the plate coral.

How much would a chengai stand for a 2X2 base tank cost? Of about 1m height?
-
It costs less than 40 bucks for a 59cmX59cm pine table at Ikea..
-
Yo guys...I will be using a table for my new tank. I've got 3 choices of wood to choose from. Would love to know which wood would be best. Thanks.. 1) Solid pine 2) Birch 3) Oak

Is mysis shrimp complete diet for angel?
FuEl replied to patrick123's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)
Read somewhere that sponges are essential as part of angelfish diet if not they will have nutritional problems in the long run. An incomplete diet has been linked to head and lateral line syndrome (HLLS). That's why in the states for commercially prepared angelfish frozen foods they incoporate sponges. Alternatively if you stick to mysis you should enrich them with selcon. Can be found at eaquarist. -
Hmm..mine just flopped dead...no visible injuries nothing. It's like they just got heart attack and died...
-
Sorry heckers..bulls-eye pistol sold long ago. Vincenttan..sure..I can meet you at bedok mrt. But it will be sometime next week when I dismantle my tank. Is that ok with you?
-
Oh my..hairy crabs! Spear them~!

www.diving4images.com/Crustacea.html Not much info is available on the net regarding these shrimps but it is certain they will die without a heliofungia host. They stay small...males body length about 1cm and females about twice their size. They have long thin claws used to defend the heliofungia from threats (even my hand).
