Oh so that's the place. Alot of unused space & quite a fair distance to walk in from main entrance.. Used to be a feed mill I think.

Pinched Mantle is caused by a parasite that thrives on iron. Add lots of carbon and remove as much iron-based phosphate removal media if you are using them. Change to alumnium based phosphate remover or non-iron based phosphate removers like goodbyePO4. Cut down on additives that have iron as a component. Freshwater dips can be performed but do match the pH & temperature of the water. Big clams can be dipped in freshwater for as long as an hour. Smaller clams I would go 30 mins max.

Check for pyramid snails and pray you do not have them.

Coming Wednesday if all goes well. Uncommon stuff like flamboyant cuttlefish, white cap goby, sea falcon and the recent ruby red dragonet featured on reefbuilders. Pricing of this dragonet will be $60 per pc, $100 as a pair. This is a very fair price for these scooters. We should actually be selling at least $80 per fish. Also some high fin eels which have not appeared in Sg before.

Try using less biopellets or stopping it altogether. Most problems I have seen in common with new tanks is the use of biopellets. With mature tanks usually not much issue.

clarification on Aussie shipment on behalf of Iwarna.
FuEl replied to FuEl's topic in General Reefkeeping_
I have clarified this issue with our supplier. Pinnacle's shipment was a very lucky one, as the supplier had just collected on a new patch of reef. This is the first time in years that they get so many ssc. If Iwarna's shipment came 2 weeks later, we would have gotten at least 30 colonies of ssc. But unfortunately we were not so lucky. So please do not have the impression that Iwarna is withholding gems on purpose just to maintain market pricing. And for reefers hoping for a price war with Pinnacle, it will not happen. Pinnacle has kindly clarified that they have known the same supplier for years but they only imported due to requests from some reefers. So my comment about spies is not referring to them. Given the present situation on the aussie shipments, we are aware of how small the market is. As such, future shipments from new suppliers will be kept closed to the public until the next working day. All is well, moderators please kindly close this thread.
