  1. As long as it remains damp. 3-4 hours were not a problem for me.

  4. What you feeding the fellas with? Enriched bbs? Cultured copepods? Need starter culture of pods just let me know..I got alot..
  5. Don't think will have much effect. I do hope you remembered to add anti-chlorine esp when it involves such a large amount of water. If you forgot to add anti-chlorine things sound bad..
  6. Hmm..why not you put epoxy on the rock and on the colony itself then press them together while underwater? You have to kneed the epoxy until it hardens a little before you attempt to join them if not you'll be holding them for very very long.
  7. They won't die without circulation for 1 hour. Just worry about your fish. Anyway, you don't need such a long time for epoxy to cure. Normally it only takes a few minutes before you can on your circulation again. If you can remove the rock you want to epoxy the sps to, it would be good as it cures better out of water. Simply epoxy it out of water and leave it for around 10 minutes. By then the epoxy should have taken hold and you can place the rock+sps back into the tank. If you are talking about epoxying it underwater, you have to use alot of epoxy and most likely you will have to hold it in place until it takes hold. So most likely you'll be holding the sps underwater for a few minutes at least. IMO it is easier to epoxy it out of water. Smaller colonies or frags can be epoxied underwater quite easily. Superglue gel works just as well.
  8. Hmm..okie..I always look at things in the nano aspect..but still don't see pulsing..oh well..if it starts to pulse it will be better!
  9. Really? When I first saw them at the farm they were'nt pulsing. In my tank also not pulsing...my pulsing xenia is pulsing though..
  10. It seems much harder to keep than the common xenias. I got this for few weeks already. Wonder if it would expand more..

  12. Pulsing xenias, xenia elongata, anthelias and more! http://www.wetwebmedia.com/xeniidarts.htm
  13. The I.D forum in the new to marine hobby section is more for questions I guess. How about a second such thread under the main forums whereby people can post useful links to identifying different groups of animals?
  14. This don't look like the typical xenia to me....don't look like anthelia too..It does'nt pulse. Anyone knows what it is?
  15. In exchange for a red yuma frag? Anyway DeepBlue>>> Did those yumas give out some brown slime like brown jelly disease while infected? Currently mine looks clean..no slime..only that the stretched part looks a lil bleached..

  19. Is the yuma splitting? Not sure if I should be happy or should I be worried?
  20. Not advisable. They'll tear each other into shreds.
  21. I soak food with garlic oil. Those meant for human consumption. So much more potent.
