  6. Which part of the wall to mount your 1000W UV sterilizer?
  7. This is in Sg already, swimming in Wilson's tank. A blenny that no one wanted to buy.
  8. Not extinct, not worth culturing economically unless consumers are willing to pay more than 3 digits for a goby. Raised them before, they grow awfully slow.

  11. Still a few what appears to be Acropora microclados left at Iwarna, not the usual SSC color you see. Grab them fast as it's the first time these color morphs have appeared.
  12. Too much blue spectrum from LED can bleach your SPS, as the beam can be very concentrated. I've done it with a 1W Solite Moonlight. Most SPS can handle being put straight under MH without acclimatization so it's all about the spectrum, intensity & spread. You may wish to try Algagen Zooxanthellae available at Iwarna. It contains live zooxanthellae which corals can absorb again to help recover from a bleaching event.
  13. Australia shipment after midnight at Iwarna. E.T.A at 3-3.30am. Corals: Acropora (many new types), favites, neon green polyp sarcophyton, assorted LPS. Fishes: small chromis nitida, 1x chelmonops truncatus, choati wrasse.
  14. So called affordable captive bred seahorses are raised in net pens in the sea. These are raised mostly for the TCM trade but as pets while being easier to feed, they still harbor the same wild parasites that make seahorses so difficult to keep. True tank-raised seahorses are not exposed to such wild pathogens and they are raised 100% in closed systems, which is more costly but guarantees better health & better survivability.
  15. A couple of uncommon Fiji Amphiprion chrysopterus at Pinnacle. It's the harder to find yellow tail variant.
  16. Yes, the instructions on Reef Vitality recommend drastically reducing both trace element & amino acid supplementation.
  17. The corals will take up trace elements & nutrients more rapidly, therefore you would need to cut down the regular dose if not the corals will be taking up too much trace elements. Your trace element supplements will in turn last much longer.
  18. If all goes well, at least 2 different SPS shipment at Iwarna this week.
  19. Why so little photos? I thought you took 50+ pics? Spam them all here. Make the weekly thread report hit 20 pages.
